Lane Harris is thrilled to be serving as a music director and founder of Square One. Lane is a graduate of Otterbein University in Westerville, OH, where he was a founding member and music director of Ottertuned, the university's first co-ed contemporary a cappella group. Lane has performed on a variety of stages from the International Championship of Collegiate A cappella to the SingStrong A Cappella Festival. He loves a cappella music because it has a way of bringing people together that is unlike many other music genres. Music has always been a part of Lane's life whether it be performing musical theater, singing in a chorus, or singing in an a cappella group. His students gave him the nickname name "Bassprano" (a play on bass and soprano) because he can sing bass, but he enjoys riffing away the high notes. In his free time, you will most likely find Lane either playing games or doing vocal runs at the top of his lungs.
